The NEW MED Plate 3.0 is not only 15% smaller in size (making it universal in sizing behind any size or cut of plate), but now it is injection moulded with polycarbonate, making it stronger, more flexible and shatter-resistant. This new technique also allowed space to embroider the first-aid checklist right onto the surface, which can be filled in with marker as you go (including a 9 Liner, MARCHE, and an ATMIST). Lastly, the polycarbonate is blended with a fluorescent orange dye, allowing it to be used as a panel marker during medical evacuation.
The Medical Equipment Deployment Plate (MED Plate 3.0) is an individual first aid kit designed to fit within a plate carrier vest, in behind the ballistic plates, the back panel of your cars seat, or within the back panel of a backpack. It is built in a low-profile design to ensure that it is not cumbersome to the user, as well as allowing it to be concealed, minimizing its silhouette and overall bulk. The MED Plate 3.0 is configured with a one-handed nylon single pull lanyard, allowing the user to remove the first aid kit expediently with either hand from the inside front of their plate carrier vest; ensuring the vest does not need to be opened or manipulated by its own mechanisms prior to attempting to access the first aid kit inside. The kit is comprised of a reusable solid vestibule, allowing for the modular storage of a variety of first aid materials affixed with Velcro decided upon by the user, and capable of being reloaded when first aid materials are expended.
This kit is compatible with plate carrier vests that accept SAPI style, Shooter Style and Swimmer style plates (due to its overall reduced size, 15% smaller than the previous 2.0), it is also compatible with the standard issued Canadian Armed Forces flack vest.

1) The MED Plate SKIN: A 4-way stretch elastic external casing is the perfect compressed sleeve to slide your MED Plate 3.0 into. Its application is perfect for when you employ it outside of a plate carrier (Like an automobile or backpack) and want an outer layer protective layer. The SKIN is also perfect for use within body armour that does not have a ballistic plate pouch, ensuring your first aid kit still remains encased. The MED Plate SKIN also includes a 3" x 3" MED Plate PVC patch that is Velcro affixed to the front.
