The VDC is contained inside an integrated stuff sack, which allows for optimal, lightweight packing and loss prevention. A length of Coyote Shock Cord is laced through specific holes around the circumference of the cover to allow loosening and tightening of the VDC, meaning it can be halfway removed for access to pouches and the main compartment whilst still attached. The cover is created with NIR compliant, non-rip 500D Cordura to ensure the reduced signature of the wearer.
The VDC breaks the shape and colour of the Daysack through the laser-cut leaf pattern, allowing it to blend into the surrounding environment. The VDC can be detached and double up as a screen on Rural Observation Posts, Hides or to camoflauge Equipment Caches.
The efficient Cross-shaped pattern the VDC is cut in to means there is no wastage of material and therefore no bunching at each corner of the Daysack, reducing unnecessary weight and giving a better overall camoflauge effect compared to typical covers.
